Awkwafina
Awkwafina, an American singer and actress began with a series of rap songs which dealt with the subject of race and sexuality. Her career expanded to Hollywood when she dropped a series of raps. Nora Lum was born to Chinese-Korean immigrants from Forest Hills Queens. Her first exposure to music was from the trumpet. Apart from classical music and jazz, she started studying hip-hop when she was in her teens. While at school, she studied journalism as well as women's studies, and was studying Mandarin in Beijing for a stint. After graduating, she began to focus on music. After gaining viral fame on the Internet and her own track My Vag was a reaction to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick. It eventually appeared on her debut album Yellow Ranger. This album also featured songs that were viral such as body-positive Queef or winking hometown tour the city of New York Bitche$. The second track linked into Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide published in the year 2015, and was an additional idea. Her resume contained both an author and musician. The singer was seeking for a new career path in acting. In addition to early shows such as Girl Code and Tawk she was also in films such as Neighbors 2 Storks and Bad Rap. In 2018, she landed several breakthrough roles, such as Dude Ocean's 8 or Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she released her first film In Fina We Trust.
