Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is an incredibly well-known American performer and actress. Her parents were Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. She was raised and birthed in Huntington Woods Michigan. She is of Polish origin (mother) as well as German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen discovered her talents in the world of entertainment at a young age. In 1992, she was awarded her first role at the auditions for Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell's mother established her with an agent before she was 13, and she was cast for television and newspaper commercials. As well as taking private lessons in acting, she launched her career around that time. Bell played a brief, uncredited performance as a character Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School, where she was a member of the musical and drama clubs. Bell was cast as Dorothy in the production for high school that was The Wizard of Oz. Following graduation, Bell relocated in New York City to attend the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts in which she studied musical theater. Bell quit university in 2001, and began taking on the role Becky of Tom Sawyer. She made her first film credit with Pootie Tang at the beginning of 2001. The scene however, was trimmed and now Bell's only role is the credits at the end. Bell appeared alongside Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson and in the Broadway performance of The Crucible in 2002.
