Rachel Keller

RachelRachel Keller is a fictional character in The Ring film series. The character was developed by writer and producer Ehren Kruger, and played by Naomi Watts, serves as the main character in The Ring and The Ring Two, sharing similarities to Reiko Asakawa from the first Japanese films.Introduced in the 2002 film, Rachel is an investigative journalist trying to figure out how to avoid death after having watched an unlucky video tape she discovered while investigating the murder of her niece. Rachel must investigate the life of Samara Morgan the son of her in The Ring Two. Ruth Rachel's sister is adamant Rachel to investigate the enigmatic circumstances surrounding Katie's sudden death. She tells Rachel that she found her daughter's disfigured corpse in the closet. She also reveals that the cause of Katie's death was due to a heart attack, in spite of Katie being healthy and healthy for a teenager. Katie's friends inform Rachel about the myth that surrounds the tape with the curse and the story of Katie's friend Becca was placed in an institution due to Katie's tragic death. She also learns Katie's boyfriend, as well as two of her friends all suffered fatal accidents the same night around 10 pm. Rachel is taken to Shelter Mountain Inn, where she is in Cabin 12. Rachel found out that Anna had an adopted daughter named Samara who could cause disturbing images into the minds and bodies of animals, people, and even objects. Rachel is introduced to Anna's widower Richard. Richard demands Rachel leave as when she starts asking questions regarding Samara.
